Filters are used to treat a wide variety of water problems, though no single filter can cure all of them. The filter media is selected to address the specific problems found in your water. Various media can eliminate staining, objectionable tastes and odors. Some water borne contaminates are invisible, odorless and tasteless but can be removed by an active carbon filter.

Automatic filters are like having a silent sentry on duty 24 hours a day. These units stop sediment, rust, acid, odors and unpleasant tastes, and backwash automatically to get rid of undesirable contaminants. In most cases, the homeowner does not have to change filter cartridges or remember to initiate any activity.

For specific drinking water problems not corrected by a filter, try Reverse Osmosis or Ultraviolet Light.
